Youth Activities


For over 30 years the Fremont Symphony Orchestra has presented free annual Children’s Concerts, providing an opportunity for Several thousand school-age children in our community to hear live symphonic music. For details, see Children’s Concerts.

This season the Fremont Symphony will hold its 46th annual Young Artist Competition, where talented young musicians compete for cash awards, recognition, and an opportunity to perform with the orchestra. The competitions alternate between piano and strings, with every fifth year given to brass, woodwinds and percussion.
